Stretch your wings in a guest room equipped with a half-open-air bath and a dining room.

The manager, Mr. Kanzaka, smiles serenely and says, “We are a second home where you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and we provide the kind of hospitality that welcomes your loved ones.” The 32 guest rooms, renovated to be barrier-free for the grand opening in 2018, are located in the Dogo Onsen. It is fully equipped with a half open-air bath where you can enjoy a relaxing, free-flowing hot spring, and a dining room where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a private space. The dining room is separated from the other rooms by partitions, so you can feel at home while your hostess prepares your meals.

Enjoy the luxury of being able to enjoy Dogo Onsen in your room while feeling the ever-changing outside air depending on the weather and time of day.

Amazing things in Ehime!

  • When you go up to the lobby on the third floor, your eyes are glued to the huge 1.5-meter square “Laughing Demon Tile” figurine. Actually, this is an amazing product of Ehime, the result of Kikuma Tawara’s 750 years of tradition in Kikuma-cho, Imabari City. This unique lucky charm, which is said to “ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune,” has become a popular Insta-spot for guests.

The deliciousness of local ingredients and the freshness of the catch to your heart’s content.

Yachiyo’s signature dish, which many of its guests say is a reminder of the goodness of Japanese food, is Japanese food made with plenty of freshly caught fish and seafood and agricultural products from the prefecture. The head chef believes that the best food of the day should be served, so the menu is decided on the day of the event. The delicate dishes are a work of art in terms of both appearance and taste, with careful attention to detail in the arrangement and serving dishes. He even makes his own soy sauce, and customers who have tasted his deliciousness have been asking him to sell it to them.

Slowly enjoying hot Japanese food for breakfast might be the best luxury in this day and age!

The cuisine, which is made of local specialties such as Ehime sea bream and other prefectural products, is so delicious that even discerning guests from within the prefecture are amazed.

The warmth of the hospitality will soothe your body and mind.

Your hostess will instantaneously become friends with your children, a professional concierge will introduce you to recommended sightseeing spots, and 12 different colored yukata are available free of charge for a stylish stroll through the onsen town. The hospitality at Yachiyo is meticulous and heartwarming. One of the secrets of this hospitality is the training system in which all staff members regularly stay at Yachiyo. By actually putting themselves in the guest’s shoes, the staff members gain insight into their own personalities, and this insight leads them to provide heartfelt, non-manualized hospitality.

The staff is motivated by the many letters they receive from guests who stay at the hotel.

As soon as you step into the museum, you will be soothed by the warmth of the indirect lights wrapped in Japanese paper.
